The Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht are in charge of this election.
The election will take place in the Tourist Office on Saturday 24th September from 12 midday to 3.15 pm.
People are entitled to vote who are listed on the Official County Council voting register for the Island.
The election is based on the PR system as are national elections.
The following people will appear on the voting paper.

Ed Harper
Fiona Mac Lachlainn
Peadar Ó hUigínn
Máire Uí Drisceoil
Two people will be elected from this list
A bus will be provided to bring people to the voting centre if required
Members of the public who wish to do so will have an opportunity to see the count in Club Cléire directly after the voting.
Those voting should bring some kind of identity to show on the day, (passport, driving license etc).
