The beacon for Titanic Day will be lit between 2 and 3 pm on the Southern Side of Fiona’s Land, accessible by the walking trail. The LE Aisling will be passing Cape Clear Island around that time, recreating the last voyage of the Titanic and the beacon will be lit as it approaches. The proposed ‘American Wake’ commences in the Club at 7pm as planned. Volunteers are required from 3pm onwards to assist in the preparations and loans of artifacts from the period such as items of furniture, utensils, pictures would be much appreciated.
