Cape Clear Island Tree Planting Group will hold its annual tree planting day in the Mass Track area on Saturday 26 February next at 12.00 noon and all assistance is welcome. Planting in this area started as far back as 1989 mostly with conifers and in the last 10 years in particular the remaining open areas have been planted with broadleaf trees, many of which are by now well established and provide welcome cover. The area is interspersed with a number of trails which it is planned to extend.
All help is appreciated, please bring your own tools, spades, mattocks, clippers etc.
