Cailin Óir Ferry Service shares the dismay amongst the Island Community that the karycraft Ferry Service from Schull will no longer operate from this summer onwards as the vessel has been sold by the Molloy Family. While we understand that this is the right move for the family all will miss the fantastic service provided by them over many years, the tales and songs that enlivened the trip for Schull, their countless satisfied customers and of course the welcome business they brought to the Island during that time. No doubt the wider island community will join us in thanking them and wishing them the best for the future. Cailín Óir Ferry Service plans to provide a regular service to Schull this summer to partly fill the deficiency that this will cause in access to the Island and to support the various service providers who depend on tourism. While the 10% discount on online booking has ended from 1 April for the Baltimore Route we have decided to continue the discount on the Schull route
