Irish Water, working in partnership with Cork County Council,
is carrying out a visual survey of Cape Clear as part of the
project to locate a sustainable water source for the Island.
Hydro-G is working on behalf of Irish Water to carry out this
survey. The objective of this initial survey is for observational
purposes only and no invasive investigation will be
undertaken.
To facilitate this survey, walkover access may be required on
private lands. If access is required, landowners will be
contacted on the day to request permission.
Irish Water expects this survey to commence on February
18th, 2016, weather permitting.
